The restaurant is close to Chantilly Castle, about <15' walk. The path from the castle to the restaurant runs along a canal and a tree-lined road, the ground is covered with a layer of early autumn leaves, scattered across the two banks are a couple of stone bridges, very beautiful and poetic. I arrived at the restaurant right when it opened (12 noon so it was not crowded and there were still tables), but later around 1 pm after finishing my meal, I went out and saw that many tables were already filled and some customers had to wait in line.
The restaurant space is quite simple, sitting inside there is a 1-storey house that seems to have a rural residential feel, the seating seems limited; mainly the space to sit outside (in a tent with a canvas roof surrounded by nylon like a picnic tent or sit under the sun, without a roof. The menu (in both French and English) has a few choices and the price is quite high, the presentation of the food is not very eye-catching but the portion is quite a lot. Coupe princiere ice cream 3 boules, a large portion, 3 people can eat comfortably, the ice cream is rich and quite delicious but the strawberries are too sour; sorbets du valois a la creme chantilly, coupe 2 boules has a very sour taste. The main dish is duck leg with potato gratin and salad, which is okay, not very delicious, quickly boring.
The staff is quick and has a pleasant attitude; the food comes out relatively quickly. In general, if the criteria is to choose a restaurant near the castle, with beautiful scenery, close to nature, with a countryside feel, then this place is ideal, but as for the food, I personally do not rate it highly, the price is not commensurate with the quality.

Very bad experience, the price/quality ratio is not there, even if we are aware of also paying for the setting. The server was very unpleasant, the dressing and presentation really not neat.
