We had dinner yesterday with our two children. Everything was perfect: the atmosphere, the friendliness of the staff, the food of course, and a nice bonus for both children and adults: a play area with board games and books available. We had a wonderful time!

Don't miss it! We had an excellent lunch. Very good value for money, quantity, and price. We didn't have room for dessert, but it looked very appetizing at the next table. A must-try!

A great place to eat in this lovely village. Simple, traditional dishes made by the chef; everything seems fresh and homemade. The waitress is friendly and very pleasant, bringing the food to a nice background of music! In short, I highly recommend it and will definitely be back. Very good value for money. Thank you for a lovely experience.

A lovely little restaurant with local and traditional cuisine, the kind that's sadly hard to find these days. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will definitely be back to treat our taste buds. Having worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years, it's wonderful to see that places like this still exist. 😊

A lovely discovery just off the motorway. A warm welcome, the beef bourguignon is excellent, as is the rum baba. Nestled in the heart of a pretty village, a wonderful stopover.

14/02/2026: We just discovered this restaurant and it was a wonderful experience! The staff is absolutely lovely: welcoming, smiling, and above all, very helpful with our menu choices. We opted for local specialties, including dishes featuring Époisses cheese and Burgundy wines (you have to like wine!). A real treat for lovers of regional products, it's easy to be won over by the chef's suggested pairings. The atmosphere is relaxed and restful. Despite being full, the restaurant remains surprisingly calm and pleasant, allowing you to fully enjoy the experience. The tables are quite close together, but this creates a convivial atmosphere and even offers the opportunity to chat with your neighbors. In short, a warm and welcoming place where you feel comfortable and can savor the richness of Burgundy. We highly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return. Thank you for the rose you gave us on Valentine's Day, especially since you hadn't thought of it.

16/03/2026: Honestly, a really great kebab! The meat is flavorful, the bread is fresh, and the portions are generous. The staff is welcoming, and the service is quick. We come from Vitteaux without a reservation, with or without our children, and it's always a real treat! Honestly, I don't understand the negative reviews, because everything always goes very well during our visits, and above all, they always ask us before we leave if everything was alright... Which just goes to show you sometimes have to form your own opinion! Plus, they have very good falafel for vegetarians 🤤😋 I highly recommend it: you can go there without hesitation and on an empty stomach: a guaranteed delicious meal!!! 😊
16/03/2026: I highly recommend Délices de Byzance in Semur-en-Auxois. For me, it's clearly the gourmet kebab in the region. The quality is consistently excellent: the meat is flavorful, the ingredients are fresh, and everything is prepared with great care. You can really taste the difference. I live in Vitteaux and I make the trip regularly, often with my family, because we love this restaurant so much. We've never been disappointed. The staff is always very professional, smiling, and pleasant, which makes the experience even better. The welcome is warm, and you feel truly at ease every time you visit. Plus, they work very quickly and efficiently: even when it's busy, the service remains effective, and you hardly ever wait, which is really appreciated. And above all, it's excellent every time: the portions are generous, the flavors are top-notch, and you always leave satisfied. For me, Délices de Byzance is a must-visit in Semur-en-Auxois.
