Excellent! The only downside was that I asked for some fries to try and was charged an extra €6...without being told beforehand! Expensive fries!!!

A beautiful establishment, steeped in history and tastefully decorated. The home-style cooking is excellent; the calf's head is superb, the freshwater fish dishes are delicious, and the desserts are delightful. The wine list is lovely and original. The place looks very inviting for a drink with friends and a few board games. All this in the picturesque heart of Semur-en-Auxois, a small town we love. We will be back.

A huge thank you to the entire restaurant team for their warm welcome! We arrived as a group of 12 at 2 pm, and despite the late hour, they greeted us with a smile, without any restrictions on the menu. The service was impeccable, and the food... a real treat! Special mention for the profiteroles with Époisses cheese.

Very nice atmosphere, very kind waitress. The meal: the poached eggs were very good and tasty but barely warm. The beef bourguignon was excellent with its sauce but the potatoes that came with it were a disaster, as were the fries that came with the andouillette (very good) which were limp and greasy and fortunately, in very small quantities. Too bad. A bit expensive for the price/quality ratio.

We had a wonderful time in this small restaurant with its charming atmosphere.
Simple, local cuisine, very well executed.
The service was very fast and friendly.

I was hoping for good regional cuisine and ordered the beef bourguignon, which I hadn't tried yet. It didn't convince me... The wine, also regional, was very average for its price... I'll have to try the snails next time.
