Balsamique Restaurant sur Wambrechies

A fairly limited menu during the week

Lunch for two: Good meal as part of a three-course menu. Well-prepared, good ingredients, quick, efficient, and friendly service – a good experience overall.

This restaurant, located in downtown Wambrechies for about 12 years, was only moderately enjoyable. Several positive points: - The setting is attractive and modern, creating a pleasant atmosphere! - The menu offers a vegetarian starter and main course, which is still relatively uncommon in restaurants! - The dishes are well-presented and the offerings are original (even the curry popcorn amuse-bouche)! - The entrance is accessible to people with reduced mobility (but not the restrooms)! - The pace of service is neither too fast nor too slow! However, there are a few negative points: - We sensed that the servers were stressed! - €42 (starter, main course, dessert) seems a bit high (even though it's located in the center of a tourist town) considering the somewhat small portions and the satisfactory, if not exquisite, quality! In short, a good experience, but marred by a few of the aspects described above. We recommend it without much conviction.

Outstanding food and wine. The pace was just right. I had a reservation and had zero wait time. The set menu has quite the variety for all palates. Highly recommended!!
