12/07/2026: Hello. Second visit to Balsamic. We were disappointed. Minimalist menu. The servers, although friendly, seemed overwhelmed. No details about the dishes. We had a starter to share. It was okay (burrata) with the aperitif. However, the main course was disappointing: Minion steak and vegetables. The vegetables were waterlogged and covered in sauce. The water and sauce mixture didn't hold its shape on the plate. It wasn't appetizing. The Caesar salad was nothing like a Caesar salad: three baby gem lettuce leaves cut in half, one egg cut in half, and a few cherry tomatoes. €23 for the salad. A bit pricey for salad and an egg. They should really reconsider the name of this salad. This place also needs some tidying up. We were seated on the terrace next to an unkempt area. I think a trip to the dump is in order; the ambiance and appearance clearly warrant some attention. To finish, we had a double espresso. It tasted like a coffee infusion. Served in a tiny bowl. In short, we were disappointed with this meal.

29/08/2026: After finding the superb Lil beers in store, I went to the checkout, was pleasantly greeted and paid by "Lisa".

10/09/2026: First time at this small, family-run pizzeria, and certainly not the last! A warm and friendly welcome, and a medium-sized Savoyard pizza that was simply excellent. I highly recommend it; a great find!

05/09/2026: Unfortunately, the pizzas were burnt black. We did receive a small carafe of wine as compensation... Too bad for this cheap solution...

27/07/2026: Tours organized prematurely: we should wait until the building construction is finished. For now, the tour consists of a very (too) technical explanation of genever production. A good dusting of the premises wouldn't hurt either. To be reviewed when everything is completed. Xavier Lepoutre

16/06/2026: We arrived after a stroll along the canal, and it was a delightful discovery. The old factory still has its machinery on display, and inside they have a small shop selling products they make on-site. I bought some gin-infused beer, which was a different but very special beer experience. Highly recommended.

28/08/2026: Personally, I love it. Impeccable service. And always a smile. Fast service and very (too) generous with the fries.

25/08/2026: A pleasant spot for relaxed lunches and evenings, always with a nice beer to enjoy and well-cooked fries, with the option of seconds.

06/09/2026: The people who run this Tabac are both friendly and keen to pour beers. Amusing locals who welcomed the tourists, and it was a good laugh. Toilet was very clean too.
