Baltard Cafe sur Beaune

We had a wonderful time! It's true that sometimes there's a bit of a wait, but it's not fast food, and it's nice to be able to take your time in this beautiful city. Thank you to the very friendly servers!

Luigi provided excellent service, awarded a medal of honor! However, they could use more staff as the wait times were quite long.

We stopped by for a bite to eat and were very warmly welcomed, served quickly, and the meal was frankly delicious! Thank you.

It's okay for a quick bite, but for truly delicious food, there are better options. We did experience a bit of a wait for service.

Place was located nicely in the center with a cozy athmosphere. The staff unfortunately seemed too busy for us, even though the place was not full. Food was good.

The girls were great in getting us a table outside for 5, BUT THEN... 1. We had to get their attention to order drinks and food. Whilst they just stood around looking at the tables. 2. Three other parties of three sat down 10-20mins after us and we're being waited on right away and had their food before us. 3. I observed a party of two sit down right at the entrance and over 20mins went by and they were completely ignored, that they got up and walked away after telling them no one serviced them at all. 4. We waited over 50mins for 2 burgers, a salad, a steak plate, and the Crepe was forgotten, that was an extra 6mins. During this long wait no one came by asking if we needed anything or wanted something else to drink. 5. On top, during the long wait, we had to endure annoyingly loud conversing Americans. 3.8 rating, well earned. FIRST & LAST visit.

We went to this restaurant because they accepted holiday vouchers. We were definitely not disappointed.

A very warm welcome and a beautiful view of the Hospices de Beaune.

A cozy bistro with delicious dishes.

The bistro is charming, right in the center of Beaune, opposite the Hospices. The service was a bit slow and some of the staff weren't very professional (perhaps they were new, I don't know). We were told to order at the bar, then at the bar, no, we ordered at the table. In short, a shame.
