I was told most of the time if you come without a reservation you'll be turned away. We were very fortunate. We had an exceptional lunch. Definitely would visit here again. Parking is somewhat difficult if you have a rental car, but you can get lucky and find a parking space at Flores. All parking here is paid. There is no language barrier. Sylvain served us, and he speaks Spanish, English, and French. The dishes are presented beautifully and most will find the dining here exquisite.

We had a wonderful meal! Everything was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. A true pleasure from start to finish.
The wine recommendation was excellent, and the pairing with the meal was perfect. 🍷
And the service was top-notch: friendly, efficient, and always smiling.
In short, a fantastic restaurant in Saint-Émilion. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

Lovely meal in Saint Emilion. Really great quality and great taste in all dishes. Ordered, amongst other things, a super tasty and well presented duck confit on mashed potatoes and steak tartare which had a lovely spicy twist to it. The crab roll was fab too - huge. All dishes we had were great for sharing which is a plus for families with kids! All dishes were seasoned to perfection.

This establishment is a true restaurant amidst dozens of tourist traps.
The unique setting is superb. You enjoy the natural coolness and avoid the crowds on the terraces. A real treat.
The meal is simply exquisite. Nothing to say, except... Wow!!!
All four of us were unanimous. It was perfect from appetizer to dessert.
I slightly regret the limited selection of wines by the glass and especially the fact that we were served wines we hadn't ordered but which seemed more appropriate. It's true they were good, but even if it was a mistake, my choice remains the one that should have been taken into account. So it's a very minor, tiny drawback.
The manager's constant presence in the dining room might seem intrusive, but we appreciated the opportunity to chat.
In short, don't hesitate. By going to this restaurant, you avoid the crowds, the heat, and poor-quality food, all in an incredible setting with highly competent staff.

This place never disappoints! This was our 5th time eating here! We love the food, the service and the atmosphere. Sylvan is awesome. This is always a stop on our travels. I highly recommend! The only sad part is we won't be able to return until next spring.

We had a large group (15 people) here and the owner was incredibly acomodating. It was HOT that day but very comfortable in the cave where the seating is, and everyone was raving about the food for weeks afterwards.
They have a comprehensive local wine list within a range of price points.
