Wow... what a discovery! 🙏❤️ A little shady spot in the heart of a centuries-old village... And the food, the dishes, the menu, the prices... mmm... A truly talented chef behind it all... See you very, very soon...

We loved it! The warm and friendly welcome, the explanation of the menu and daily specials, the meticulous preparation and deliciousness of everything we tasted, the varied wine list to complement our meal, the very relaxed atmosphere perfect for a pleasant afternoon, and a lovely touch from the chef who visited our table to ask how we were enjoying our meal. Thank you so much for everything; we will definitely be back.

If you're in Saint-Émilion, you can't miss this restaurant. It has a lovely terrace, excellent service, delicious food, and wines that pair perfectly with their culinary offerings. Important! All the food and desserts are homemade. The chef personally inquires about your experience and visits each table to ask if you enjoyed your meal or if anything was amiss. The waitstaff...exceptional! Thank you, Max, for everything, for your kindness, hospitality, and constant concern for my well-being...unforgettable. Congratulations to the entire team; you are fantastic! I would return a thousand times over.

11/07/2026: Slow service and unfriendly waiters. Avoid it, as St. Émilion is full of small cafes and bistros.

03/07/2026: Reservation is definitely recommended—we booked ours a few weeks in advance. We enjoyed lunch in the beautiful shaded courtyard, which stayed comfortable even on a warm day thanks to the surrounding stone walls. The foie gras was delicious, the local white fish was cooked perfectly, and the crème brûlée was excellent. Friendly, attentive service rounded out a very enjoyable meal. A wonderful spot if you’re visiting Saint-Émilion.
25/06/2026: Nice staff. Busy and rammed full of tourists. The food ... Having been living in Lyon for a month, most places struggle for me. But I think the food here sums up Saint Emilion itself. Trying too hard to impress. Had the fois gras to start. Something that needs very little to let the depth of the flavour shine through was ruined by a ridiculous and very weird crumble topping, some white foam, and cherries in what seemed to be a chilli sauce. I can see Paul Bocuse spinning in his grave. However, the real kicker was the steak tartare. It had obviously been made earlier in the day - an ice cold party of meat where some of the beef had started to darken (the effect over fridging has). The frites were over cooked and dry. By the following afternoon the cramps started, with a night of hanging by the toilet to enjoy). I've had steak tartare many many times and I've never got sick, and my friend had the same starter so....
