We hadn't seen the reviews before going to this restaurant and I must admit that I don't understand, after eating there, why the ratings aren't higher… The service is friendly, professional and efficient and the value for money is excellent both for the food and the wine!

The setting, with its shaded terrace, was appealing (we booked to be on the safe side), but you need plenty of time to have lunch at this establishment. And Saint-Émilion was far from full. If you're patient, then it might work out. The starter was a pleasant surprise, but unfortunately, the quality didn't extend to the main courses, especially the chicken supreme. What a shame!

The terrace is lovely, and the food is excellent and sophisticated. However, I was very disappointed by the waiter (the waitress was very pleasant), who was rushed with our order, disappointed that we didn't order a starter… and that we only had two desserts for four people! In short, we must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed!
