Bar Brasserie La Renaissance sur Cognac

Set menu 17euros for 3 courses and coffee after. Worth a visit food was good , service was spot on

After reading a lot of negative comments on the service, unfortunately I confirm. The waitress passed back and forth in front of us, but not much happened. Long wait just to get the menu. On the other hand, serving tables that arrived after us, no problem... In short, bad experience for the service, but on the other hand the dishes are good and homemade (including the fries). So I'm only giving it 3 stars because of the service.

Service a little long but justified due to lack of staff

Good brasserie food, too bad the staff isn't more professional. Very slow service both in the restaurant and on the terrace, it spoils the pleasure a little

Unpretentious, a French classic

En quête d'un restaurant après être allés faire un tour au festival du polar, nous nous sommes laissés guider par le smartphone. Et bien nous en a pris. Nous fûmes accueillis par un patron aussi sympa que ces lunettes sont originales. Quasiment pas d'attente entre la prise de commande et l'arrivée des plats. Et les plats très copieux. Copieux au point que j'ai été le seul à prendre un dessert et le café gourmand m'a suffit. Bien entendu, les plats ne sont pas que copieux, ils sont aussi excellents. Bref, festival du polar ou pas, nous reviendrons.
