Few restaurants were open in the area at this time of year, especially on a Monday, so we came to this brasserie. The service was impeccable, the ingredients fresh, everything homemade, and the price very reasonable. I highly recommend it.

A superb little brasserie. We were able to eat outside in the middle of December because there was no room inside, but it didn't bother us at all as the temperature was pleasant and the view of the church was lovely. The meal was very generous and excellent; you could tell it was homemade. The dessert was just as good! The service was fantastic; I highly recommend it!

We didn't know if there was a market hall in Azay-le-Rideau, but we were lucky enough to stumble upon Brasserie des Halles!

A superb experience! The food is excellent, the dishes are prepared with care and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is very friendly and the service is top-notch.

Okay, I admit finding a hair in the warm goat cheese salad wasn't great. According to the owner, the salads bought at Carrefour were full of them. The salad was replaced, but €14.50 for a simple salad and four slices of white bread (I had asked for no crickets) is a bit pricey. A few slices of tomato would have been nice. The coffee was on the house.
