We had a wonderful lunch today, everyone ate very well! (Even too much, we didn't have room for dessert!) The service was quick, the waiters were very welcoming and friendly, I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you!

Fantastic welcome, great atmosphere, and friendly service! Mussels, oysters, Chardonnay, and kouign-amann were excellent... Valou and her team in Normandy were so lovely and charming.

Hello, the waiter and waitress were very welcoming. The seafood platter was nice and fresh, but my wife got sick that evening. However, the meal was ruined by the owner, who was sitting on the terrace and loudly recounting a wedding where he supposedly met "a future girlfriend" (poor thing). Go when the owner is cooking.

22/09/2026: How can one express in a few words the wonderful experience of lunch at Le Cancalais? First, the setting: understated yet elegant, open and welcoming with its beautiful dining room and large terrace. The welcome: warm and attentive. The service: efficient and highly professional. We opted for two set menus at €33 each. A special touch: a small glass of pumpkin gazpacho offered as an amuse-bouche. The presentation of the dishes was meticulous, as were the food themselves. Admittedly, the €6 supplement for the sea bass with its small vegetables in a pot-au-feu was a bit steep, but a true delight. Even the tableware added a touch of elegance. This was a lunch that thoroughly delighted us. An excellent establishment, full of refinement and flavor.

25/05/2026: We ate lunch at the restaurant. The welcome was very warm and the location perfect during the heatwave. The food was served quickly and was good. The waiters were responsive and attentive.
