We spent a night at this establishment where we had dined over 30 years ago. While the rooms could use some updating, this doesn't detract from their comfort and charm (ours had a perfect sea view), and they are impeccably maintained. The food was delicious; the John Dory was excellent, and the crêpes/tarte tatin were generously flambéed. The service was impeccable, with a warm and professional welcome from the owner, who was everywhere at once and offered great advice on bringing home the best oysters. Just a stone's throw from the oyster farmers. A must-visit.

Absolutely amazing meal and great service.
My daughter dropped her glass before the meal was even served. It smashed on the table and before we even had a chance to respond one of the waiters was at our table cleaning up the broken glass and mess as well as making sure she was ok! Amazing ❤️
The rest of the service was great and the food was the best we have had this holiday.
It's a bit more expensive than some but definitely worth it😎

We stayed for one night, and from check-in to our evening meal and breakfast, the service was fantastic. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always had a smile.
Our room had beautiful views and included everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel has a lovely rustic charm that creates a warm and relaxing atmosphere.
We would definitely recommend this hotel and will certainly be returning in the future.

I stayed there for three nights; the bedding was good quality. The rooms were clean, and the owner was very friendly. From morning to breakfast and dinner, I had no complaints. There was a sea view and it's just steps from the oyster market. I recommend it.

A wonderful evening at this establishment. Excellent oysters, a flavorful risotto, a magnificent turbot, and to finish, a beautiful cheese plate, all served with a smile and attentive service overlooking the bay of Cancale...♥️
