We ate lunch at the restaurant. The welcome was very warm and the location perfect during the heatwave. The food was served quickly and was good. The waiters were responsive and attentive.

The hotel is very well located along Cancale beach, on the street lined with restaurants and shops. While my room was admittedly a bit worn, it was nevertheless clean, quiet, and the bedding was very comfortable. The breakfast was very generous. Special mention goes to the gentleman serving breakfast who was very friendly, professional, and helpful.

A very warm welcome and excellent service at this restaurant, which is clearly a favorite among regulars. The seafood is superb, and the main courses and cheeses are very good. The desserts are not only generously presented but also a true delight for the palate. The perfect way to end a wonderful meal. Kudos to the kitchen!

The room and bathroom were a bit dated, but the bedding was comfortable. There's no elevator. The rooms are on three floors. Parking is available for a fee. The restaurant is very good.

22/09/2026: How can one express in a few words the wonderful experience of lunch at Le Cancalais? First, the setting: understated yet elegant, open and welcoming with its beautiful dining room and large terrace. The welcome: warm and attentive. The service: efficient and highly professional. We opted for two set menus at €33 each. A special touch: a small glass of pumpkin gazpacho offered as an amuse-bouche. The presentation of the dishes was meticulous, as were the food themselves. Admittedly, the €6 supplement for the sea bass with its small vegetables in a pot-au-feu was a bit steep, but a true delight. Even the tableware added a touch of elegance. This was a lunch that thoroughly delighted us. An excellent establishment, full of refinement and flavor.

20/09/2026: We had a wonderful meal. The mussels were magnificent and the owner was incredibly friendly. A MUST-SEE in Cancale.
