Bar Papillon sur Ollioules

We arrived in Ollioules around 1:30 pm, just as several restaurants had already closed… and what a delightful surprise it was to walk through the door of Le Papillon! 🦋 Behind the unassuming exterior of a small neighborhood bar lies absolutely delicious home-style cooking. The chef works wonders: butcher's carpaccio, homemade lasagna, a superb composed salad with fried zucchini blossoms… Everything was fresh, generous, and bursting with flavor. 😍 And then there's her famous chocolate fondant, the chef's signature dish, which everyone asks for! She's given it a twist with "Fonckie," an incredible combination of chocolate fondant and cookie dough… a real treat. 🍫🍪 From start to finish, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, with the added bonus of lovely servers and a truly warm welcome. A place we discovered completely by chance… but one we'll definitely be returning to! ❤️

An excellent place for lunch, Sophie has some of the best cooking in the area, highly recommended.

After a warm welcome and a presentation of the menu, we opted for the tuna/salmon skewer with its varied accompaniments. A homemade dessert and a good rosé wine completed the experience before we settled a very reasonable bill. It was a wonderful discovery. Thank you. Nectar.

A wonderful discovery in this charming, typical village of the region. Excellent food and top-notch service. Thank you for serving our son so quickly; he enjoyed his meal. The dish of the day, couscous with lamb shank, was delicious and a generous portion.

A small, friendly, and welcoming establishment. Traditional cuisine with reasonably priced dishes. Service was fairly quick, and the portions were quite generous. We ate outside; it was a little noisy, but not bothersome.
