A fantastic restaurant with excellent cuisine, friendly service, and a wonderful shaded outdoor area; a visit on the way to or from your holiday is definitely worthwhile. We will certainly be back.

The service is perfect, the young women efficient and charming, the amuse-bouche and dessert with the coffee are superb, the setting is idyllic, the products are local – everything is perfect! Just one small caveat: the portions are generous, so it's best to let them know if you have a small appetite!

Excellent meal at La Voûte des Gourmands! An extraordinary snail burger, a delicious trout steak, and French toast to die for!!! A carefully curated gourmet menu featuring local products and attentive service.

I ❤️ loved the warm welcome in the shade of the plane trees, soothed by the sound of the fountain. The amuse-bouche, main course, dessert, coffee, and petit four were all delicious, prepared with local ingredients (as indicated on the menu and by the service). I sensed a bit of stress in the service...please allow us time to appreciate the dishes and the ambiance you offer. I recommend it...I will return.

Pleasant setting near the fountain, in the shade and close to the Palais Idéal. The cuisine deserves its 5 stars; I'm only giving it 4 stars for the rest, due to the stress emanating from the charming waitresses who, unintentionally, move quickly around the tables and chat amongst themselves, about work of course, as service demands.

Ideal Resto

13/10/2026: The service was excellent, as were the ravioli gratins.

Le Relais

23/05/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family-run hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner is a true chef who knows how to delight the palate and satisfy even the heartiest appetites. As a gourmet and gourmand, I was in heaven. The owner's wife welcomes and serves you. The breakfast is very comprehensive. The hotel is quiet and very well insulated. Ideally located for immersing yourself in the world of Ferdinand Cheval, whose tomb on one side and ideal palace on the other are just a few minutes' walk away in the town of Hauterives itself. The parking lot is gated and the entrance is secured with a keypad. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel in a beautiful region nestled between the countryside and the mountains.
20/05/2026: Impeccable welcome and service. Excellent food and very good service. I loved it. Thank you to the team.
