Lunch in the shade of a mulberry tree after visiting the Ideal Palace. A menu full of promise, and it lived up to expectations. It was very good, and Nola served us very efficiently.

First, the famous 48-hour matured pizza! Delicious! Then my attention was drawn to a burger served at the next table. I had to go back and try it! Being a big eater, I ordered the biggest one! 😋 It was so huge, impossible to eat without cutlery. Served with delicious fries and salad, I almost had trouble finishing it! 😍 A big plus: a children's play area and a terrace under the trees. In short, everything you need for a great evening!

23/05/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this family-run hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The owner is a true chef who knows how to delight the palate and satisfy even the heartiest appetites. As a gourmet and gourmand, I was in heaven. The owner's wife welcomes and serves you. The breakfast is very comprehensive. The hotel is quiet and very well insulated. Ideally located for immersing yourself in the world of Ferdinand Cheval, whose tomb on one side and ideal palace on the other are just a few minutes' walk away in the town of Hauterives itself. The parking lot is gated and the entrance is secured with a keypad. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel in a beautiful region nestled between the countryside and the mountains.

09/08/2026: A wonderful discovery right next to the Palais Idéal. We had an aperitif. The €7 was a generous portion. Then we both had ravioli with a small salad. Everything was delicious. The Adelice ice creams are a real treat. The staff are friendly, smiling, and attentive. All this on the shaded terrace. We were even able to choose our table.
08/08/2026: Great restaurant, I highly recommend it! A very warm welcome, and the food is excellent!
