Bar Restaurant Les Planards sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Bar/restaurant opposite the Planards ski slope. Service is a bit slow, but that's normal during peak ski season; the servers are overwhelmed. The view is pleasant, and there's good music.

Excellent welcome, very friendly staff and top-notch service. Large terrace with views of the mountains and the Aiguille du Midi.

We thought this was great. Now crowded and right inside the funfair. Our burgers were better than most places in Chamonix. Service was fast too, although the kids meal arrived later than the others. Great views.

I highly recommend it. We ate there yesterday with the children, and the portions were generous. Some reviews criticize the prices, but they're reasonable for a touristy place like Chamonix! :) We had two very responsive and friendly young waitresses, and all the servers were efficient and took excellent care of the very large terrace. I truly recommend this place, especially with its breathtaking view of Mont Blanc.

The portions were generous, and the children's menus were more suitable for adults. The service was adequate, although the waiters were clearly overwhelmed; kudos to them. It's expensive, but I suppose that's the price you pay for a very touristy place like Chamonix…

For a touristy place, it was incredibly welcoming, the staff were warm and friendly, and the food was delicious. The beautiful scenery made for a truly relaxing lunch, and I was very satisfied! 😍

The place is nice. The waiter is very friendly. However, I was quite disappointed with the drinks. We ordered iced coffees... no ice, no milk, for €7.50... just a cold coffee that had been left to cool down, and lattes for €10, also without ice. I think they need to rethink their recipe.

A beautiful restaurant with delicious and halal food. I recommend it.
