Bar Restaurant Les Planards sur Chamonix-Mont-Blanc

Server was excellent! We wiled away the hours here yesterday while our kids played and the waiter took care of a huge outdoor area, serving and clearing lots of tables.

I used this restaurant for lunch on a Club Tourism tour. From the restaurant, I could see Mont Blanc. The menu consisted of gratin dauphiné, salad, and apple pie. The gratin dauphiné was quite heavy with lots of cheese. I also ordered a glass of beer. The payment amount was the same whether I paid in euros or Swiss francs, so I paid in euros.

The food isn't amazing, but honestly, the servers are overwhelmed with often rude customers, yet they still manage to make an effort with each new table. Personally, I've always received a warm welcome, and despite the number of customers, the server even remembered us the next time. We get the servers we deserve! All joking aside, I'll be back! 👍
