Bar Rooftop Les Ambassadeurs sur Saint-Malo

I came here during a two-day holiday in Saint-Malo. I had two ham and butter sandwiches. The price was very reasonable. And I think you can add extras. I had the chance to try the famous Queen Anne cake, a Breton cake, and also some magnificent and delicious Breton pastries! I also had two coffees. The baker is very polite and friendly, and the Breton products are amazing.

Great croissants and bread along with friendly service! Highly recommend! I would ignore the reviews if you are looking for great baked goods.

Well, I'm very satisfied compared to the other reviews. The pastries are very good, as are the sandwiches. The cakes are decent. However, if you go at 9:00 am for pastries on a Saturday morning in June, well, there's nothing left. That's a shame. I left hungry and had my coffee alone, which is sad, hahaha! I prefer it with a good croissant. Anyway, have a good weekend, and maybe tomorrow, Sunday, I'll get my croissants.

What a great find last Sunday! We bought delicious ham and butter sandwiches with incredibly airy bread dough, and after a 900 km drive, their huge crêpes were a real treat. I highly recommend this bakery.

So are the negative reviews because the place is not laid out like yet another hipster joint? The important thing here is that the breads were great. Glad there is a bakery in this quieter part of town, outside of old city walls.

Croissants were great! Would go again next time in town.
