We ate at this restaurant during our visit to Saint-Malo, and we had an extremely good meal. We enjoyed it from beginning to end (cod fritters, fish soup, baked egg, then rump steak, pollack with chorizo, burger), and the servers were all very helpful and pleasant! A very good place to eat.

Contrary to many previous reviews, we had a wonderful evening after the eclipse! A very warm welcome. No waiting between courses. We were looking for a fish restaurant—well, we are in Brittany, after all!—and we weren't disappointed. Luckily we didn't read the reviews before going 😊 Thanks to the very sweet waiter who might recognize himself, and best of luck for the end of the season!

Wow, what a delicious steak we ate here! The wine recommendation was good and paired well with the dish. So we are completely satisfied. There was only one waiter, and he did a very good job. Constantly keeping an eye on the guests, taking menus, and serving. Perhaps that is why the drinks arrived a bit sooner after the meal. Respect for how he managed all of this, while fast-walking while serving everyone all evening. Well done! In terms of ambiance, we sat on somewhat hard chairs inside; it would be advisable to replace these with softer ones. Also, the door remained open, causing several guests to remain seated with their coats on. But as far as we are concerned, it is highly recommended.

We were well received, but the food should be better. It's a shame this establishment relies so heavily on tourism. On the plus side, the tiramisu was delicious.

09/08/2026: Passing through St. Malo, we were returning from a stroll through the old town and stopped for a sandwich before heading back. It was very good; it had been a long time since I'd had a decent sandwich. The bread was still fresh and the filling was just right. We didn't get any pastries, but if we're ever back, we'll definitely try them.
