I haven't left the restaurant yet, but I wanted to leave a review. I highly recommend this restaurant, which has delicious food and a very warm welcome. It's the best restaurant my husband and I ate at in Saint Jean de Monts. They deserve to be packed every day. Well done to the chef!

We came today for lunch. The lunch menu was original and flavorful. However, I was very disappointed 😞 with the place. I was expecting something exotic, but it wasn't at all. It was ugly, dark, and cluttered with objects. The terrace was full of leaves, and the grounds were neglected. The plants and trees weren't exactly exotic. The toilets had old tiles and outdated paint. The hallway was cluttered. When you charge a minimum of 50 euros per person, you should have an establishment that reflects the quality of the prices.

08/03/2026: For the past few months, we've enjoyed coming to Le Comptoir for a drink. The atmosphere, decor, and staff are pleasant. However, we'd like to inform you that the inside handle of the restroom door has been missing for several months. Also, yesterday in the late afternoon, there was no more paper towel. It's little things like this that make the difference between one establishment and another. You're either professional or you're not! Sincerely.
25/02/2026: A short break to enjoy a sunny day with a beer and a charcuterie/cheese platter – a wonderful moment with a sea view. Enjoy!

Hotel-Restaurant l'Espadon

29/03/2026: We had wonderful nights there, nothing to complain about – comfortable beds and a warm welcome. The breakfast was very generous and gourmet. We also enjoyed the restaurant, which offered excellent cuisine. A huge thank you to the owner and the team at L'Espadon.
14/03/2026: A little disappointed. We hadn't finished our aperitif, the starters had already arrived, the fish was boney and lukewarm, the meat was slightly tough, and the fries were a bit overcooked. For dessert, two of us chose the chocolate mousse, which was very average and runny. It's a shame because we were regulars. But these comments are just for future improvement. Sincerely. It just needs to be said politely. Thank you.
