Barbacoa sur Boulogne-Billancourt

Great atmosphere; super friendly staff. And the food is very good. I recommend it.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Barbacoa in Boulogne-Billancourt. We arrived as a party of four without a reservation and the staff was able to accommodate us right away. The service was exceptional from start to finish: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Our kids each had burgers, which they absolutely loved. My wife ordered the ribeye steak, and I enjoyed the charcuterie and cheese platter. The food was delicious and the staff made us feel genuinely welcome. It's not always easy to find a place that delivers both outstanding food and excellent service, but Barbacoa did. Highly recommended, and we'll definitely return the next time we're in the area!

We went to eat at this restaurant yesterday and, overall, we had a good time. We ordered tapas and a mixed platter: everything was very good, especially the bread served with the charcuterie and cheese. As for the cocktails, I really enjoyed mine; no complaints. For our main courses, I thoroughly enjoyed the octopus burger. It came with a sharing platter for the whole table, which included fries, salad, and a vegetable stew with olives and cilantro. I was a little surprised because I thought there would be a portion of fries per burger, but no, it was a single portion for the whole table, so we had to order more. The salad was very good. However, the stew had a strong cilantro flavor, which might not be to everyone's taste, and this wasn't mentioned beforehand. The desserts were lovely, with a beautiful presentation. The final bill was quite reasonable. However, I did notice some minor issues regarding the upkeep and finishing of the establishment: cracked paint, damaged edges, a blackened and soiled wall at the corner of the steps, and a bar that appeared somewhat greasy or shiny. As for the service, the welcome was very pleasant and the servers very friendly. However, the waitress who served us didn't take our orders and didn't seem entirely confident, which raised some concerns. Furthermore, a different person came to collect our food, and as soon as our appetizers were cleared, we were immediately offered desserts. Despite these minor points, we still had a good time and enjoyed a delicious meal. We would be happy to return for the main courses.
