We stayed for one night at Hotel Barberaenea as we were passing through Bidarray on our way along the GR10. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and overall we enjoyed our dinner, although it was a bit more expensive than we had initially anticipated. The only let down for us was the service; as mentioned in a few other reviews, we didn’t find the host to be particularly welcoming or accommodating, and the restaurant was quite understaffed for what was a fairly busy evening.

What a pleasure it was to stay at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by incredibly kind staff, always smiling, available, and attentive. It truly makes a difference, and we immediately felt welcome. We also enjoyed the restaurant, where we savored dishes that were both refined and generous. A very pleasant surprise, both in terms of the quality of the ingredients and the flavors. We spent the night in absolute peace and quiet, in a large, comfortable room with a magnificent view of the mountains. A truly relaxing moment before hitting the road again. Thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome and professionalism. We will cherish the wonderful memories of our stay and will gladly return. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel!

Restaurant review: We were just passing through. We had lunch there yesterday. The dishes were high quality, very generous portions, and well-prepared. The two waitresses were friendly, and there was a shaded terrace. It's a place we highly recommend; it offers excellent value for money.

We ate there today. It's best to book in advance. The sangria and croquettes were delicious to start the meal. We continued with the lamb chops and the prawns/baby squid with chorizo. It was a generous portion, very well seasoned. The service was efficient and pleasant. Thank you for a lovely meal.

Excellent dinner with fresh, perfectly cooked local produce. Impeccable and friendly service. Fair price. The takeaway sandwich for lunch the next day was delicious.

We only ate there. That was good. The portions were also substantial enough to make a hiker happy. The man is a bit grumpy, but so am I. The woman makes up for everything with her service.

Family meal today for Mother's Day. The quality and quantity of the food were excellent, and the homemade fries were particularly noteworthy, which is quite rare and worth mentioning. And finally, a special mention for the very pleasant and professional waitress 👍. We had a very enjoyable time.

25/10/2026: A beautiful, peaceful, and pleasant estate where you can get around freely in an electric buggy after leaving your car at the entrance. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and always available. The rooms are spacious, clean, well-equipped, with excellent bedding and, in our case, a very nice view. An excellent experience at the Lore Ttipia restaurant, both for the quality of the food and the service. The dining room is also very pleasant and inviting. The wellness area is a plus (heated pool, sauna, hammam, gym), although the spa could use a little updating. The only real disappointment was breakfast. The selection was rather limited, especially the savory options, with few regional products and homemade items. This contrasted sharply with the excellent dinner the previous evening, and was a bit of a shame for an establishment of this caliber. Overall, a very good stay, with a few areas for improvement.
25/10/2026: We had a wonderful time. We were pampered with our 18-month-old. A true haven of peace! Try it at the same time as the restaurant.
