Bateaux Nantais sur Nantes

Hello everyone. This Valentine's Day cruise is fabulous. My wife and I usually dress up in our best outfits for this kind of entertainment. My wife is a little sexier than usual, and I think that's obvious to us. Yet yesterday, February 14th, proved us completely wrong, as the women's outfits were particularly dreadful. Jeans and sneakers were still the order of the day, and high heels didn't impress us either. Our outfits for grocery shopping on Saturday remained unchanged. It seems women have lost their appeal, unfortunately! Without wanting to impose anything, a dress code could still be suggested in such circumstances. Just a thought. Have a good evening!

Fourth dinner cruise on the Erdre River. What a disappointment compared to the previous ones: a cold atmosphere, a lack of explanations throughout the journey, poor acoustics, and mediocre musical entertainment, even though there used to be a dance floor. As for the food, I'm still looking for the virgin sauce that was supposed to accompany my sea bass fillet. The pastries were dry and tasteless. Very disappointed for this wedding anniversary.

I booked this premium cruise for my parents' 80th birthday, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The welcome, the service, the meal, and the special touch for their 80th birthday at dessert were all excellent. Thank you for your kindness in assisting them with boarding and disembarking. They were delighted with their cruise. A big thank you to your team.

A fantastic way to discover Nantes from the water! The trip with Bateaux Nantais was very relaxing and offered great views of the architecture and nature along the Erdre River. The ship is modern, clean, and offers superb views through its large panoramic windows. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere on board was pleasant. Highly recommended for tourists and locals alike.

New Year's Eve on the Bateaux Nantais I had booked a New Year's Eve cruise with the Bateaux Nantais. We had a good evening. Nevertheless, I would like to share a few comments that the Bateaux Nantais should address and, above all, improve, as this isn't the first time they've organized events like this. First of all, we were quite cold on the Armoric II. Many of the people there were wearing jackets, even fleece jackets. One child was even wearing an anorak, gloves, and a hat. On such a beautiful river, full of magnificent castles and other monuments, it's a shame not to be able to see anything because the windows were fogged up. I tried to clear the fog with my towel, but after a few minutes, it was fogged up again. We couldn't enjoy the view, even though it was my first time going so far up the Erdre River. As for the food, no complaints, except that the scallops were cold and the meat was rather tough for two out of four people. That's all. Thanks to the friendly waiters and other staff on the boat. We had a wonderful New Year's Eve on the dinner cruise. The service and atmosphere were top-notch.

We took this cruise one evening in December, and it was truly excellent. We had already done it about 10 years ago. I didn't feel comfortable back then! This time, it was absolutely wonderful. The head waiters were incredibly friendly (Gautier was so smiley and kind; it was very pleasant). As for the meal, the appetizers were very good (foie gras for my husband, scallops for me). The main course was perfect; my husband loved the veal steak! I was a little disappointed with my sea bass fillet. The fish was served without any sauce and was a bit dry. The butternut squash was very tender but completely unseasoned, and since there was no sauce, I left it. The black rice, however, was very good. The dessert—caramel tart with apple and vanilla ice cream for the two of us—was flawless! Thank you, we are delighted with this evening and we will definitely come back if we have the opportunity.
