Beaj Kafe sur Brest

A young, alternative, cozy café/restaurant where you can just sit comfortably and for a long time. My meal was delicious, interestingly seasoned and hearty. So, if you're ever in Brest, definitely go there 🌻

Quiet and pleasant place to eat and read. Very warm welcome. The homemade soup and homemade iced tea are a treat. Prices are high or quantity is not enough.

Fresh and light cuisine, very good coffee and matcha late. Calm and studious atmosphere.

If you dont mind a bit of noise then this is a good place to work/chill/relax while having your coffee/tea with many other people around. With the rainy weather in Brest, maybe it's a good choice for you. Come back the several times, I like the vibe here, still can work even though it's little noisy. Seeing others working can give you motivation for your own work too.

I visited BEAJ KAFE last week with my friends and it was just lovely! We are university students visiting France and we had the best coffee there. The atmosphere is so chill and homey and it’s a great place to study/work since it has a lot of space, tables and good lighting. It’s is self-service though, which was a first for me. We tried the latte coffee, matcha latte, carrot cake, lemon and strawberry cheesecake, all very tasty and freshly made! We are definitely visiting again!

Really excellent food. I thought for several mouthfuls: “so this is what the top chef jury must have on the palate when they say these lunar things”. Second mega positive point these days almost impossible to find: there is no music in the back room. But total joy in this atmosphere of subdued lighting / calm people / silence only disturbed by the discreet purring of the kitchens and the tapping of customers on their computers. The staff is friendly, pleasant, not intrusive. All you have to do is ban children there to make it my favorite place in Brest.
