Betty's bar sur Lyon

A very pleasant place, and the waitress was super friendly. And the food was very good!

A must-try in Lyon on Rue Mourguet in the 5th arrondissement!!!! Personally, I'm completely addicted to their bagels and won't even stop after trying everything on the menu 😋 And what can I say about their caramel tiramisu? It's absolutely divine 😍 As for the team, the owners, Hélène and Betty, are fantastic. The waitresses, Val and Ayla, are top-notch, professional, attentive, and offer great advice. And Elodie, who cooks when Betty isn't there, is a gem and a genius in the kitchen 😜 In short, you get the picture: go there without hesitation, I'm telling you! 😋 Oh, and I almost forgot, their IPA is brewed in-house and is absolutely amazing 😜

When traveling I tend to avoid North American style places or Irish/British pubs unless in Ireland/UK. BUT we popped into Betty's for a drink and I'm so glad we did! The atmosphere is fab - great vibe, customers chatting and laughing together and it's super cozy. The servers are excellent! Coming from hospitality myself, I would try to hire them if they lived near my work. I felt guilty ordering a hotdog while here, in the food capital of France. Totally worth it! It's more of a Danish style weiner, with that pop when you bite into it. Crispy lettuce with a fresh dressing on the side and sorry, got the onion rings. DELICIOUS. Locals are mostly here which speaks volumes - plus a few tourists. Staff speak perfect English and French. Prices are great especially during happy hour. I had a 'pot' of local rosé for 12€, regular price. I would most definitely visit again. Recommend even as a solo, sit at the bar and you will make new friends guaranteed!

A bar worth remembering, with pleasant, smiling waitresses and a superb atmosphere.

This is the best bar in Lyon! The beers are good, the atmosphere is always pleasant, the waitresses are lovely, and I recommend the mountain pass for the extra nights out.
