Very nice place with a good menu and reasonable pricing, strongly recommend!

We've eaten here several times recently and have been delighted every time. Excellent quality at an unbeatable price. The atmosphere is simple but clean. The owner is always friendly and happy to accommodate special requests. We'll definitely be back.

The restaurant is very good; the starters are excellent, as are the main courses, which offer a wide selection. However, the desserts are frozen. The major drawback is the wait between courses. Expect to wait at least an hour and a half, or even two hours, for a set menu with just a starter and main course.

We had a wonderful meal at this restaurant. The value for money is truly excellent, and the welcome and service were very friendly. While the starters weren't anything extraordinary (though they weren't bad either), the homemade dishes were, and the portions were very generous. I've never had such good lasagna (not even my own, I confess!), and my husband also enjoyed his flank steak. I'm sure the homemade couscous must be delicious too. :) Eating for €24 (starter, main course, dessert) on a Sunday with an ocean view, homemade dishes (and fries!), frankly, the 1-star reviews are ridiculous! If we return to Montalivet, we'll definitely eat there again. Thank you!
