Biscuithé sur Azay-Le-Rideau

I loved this charming little tea room, where the welcome was so pleasant and warm! Lovely, original, and tempting pastries, a wide selection of hot and cold drinks (the tea selection is magnificent), and a variety of ice creams and biscuits. Those with a sweet tooth will be delighted! A pleasant interior and a small terrace overlooking the street.

Three days in Azay-le-Rideau, and three visits to Biscuithé! We could have gone every day, trying out different treats: excellent ice cream, delicious cakes and cookies, excellent homemade tarts, and a wide variety of drinks and teas. The staff were welcoming and friendly; thank you for these relaxing moments :)

Located between the church and the castle in Azay-le-Rideau, this tea room offers pastries to go and fabulous ice cream. For those with celiac disease, there's a choice of two types of shortbread and two cakes: one rhubarb and the other blackberry. Both are light and delicious, offering a treat that's often lacking. Furthermore, the wide selection of homemade sorbet flavors, including a weekly special, provides an opportunity to discover new tastes. The ice creams are generously sized and delicious. A highly recommended spot for everyone, especially those on gluten-free and lactose-free diets.

While on vacation, we stumbled upon Biscuithé, a small boutique and tea room where we thoroughly enjoyed their homemade products. We have absolutely no complaints: the tarts, the ice cream (especially the mint and kiwi), and the slices of marble cake that our little girl adored. We also loved the savory tarts, the cookies, and the fruit jellies—we wanted to try everything! ☺️ And a special mention goes to the warm welcome from the owners and staff, who were always smiling, pleasant, and helpful. Thank you for these wonderful moments at your place!

"Eat in or take away" Don't make the mistake, or you'll be dealing with a server who won't be subtle about reprimanding you! The idea was to wait for the rest of the family, but it was impossible to explain. Perhaps the rule could be displayed on a sign to avoid feeling so awkward in front of other customers? Exquisite ice cream, nice place, and reasonable prices. 👌

We tasted the gluten-free pastries, a real treat! The ice cream was also very good.

A cute little place slightly away from the other restaurants. The prices are very reasonable. I was so impressed with the violet tea, that I bought some to take home. After eating, we went opposite for a lovely caramel ice cream. Yummy

Everything is excellent, the pies, cakes and especially the ice cream which is incredible! In addition, the service is very friendly.

Delicious savory tarts and pastries! Highly recommended.
