Woody decor for a delicious meal. Beautiful selection of natural wines and champagnes. Please note that there may be a wait between courses because the chef is alone and the cuisine is refined.

Great to find a nice Japanese option in a random French town. Delicious food and extensive wine list which they were able to talk us through. Seems unlikely we’ll be in Beaune again but would definitely return to Bissoh if we do.

Bissoh was the highlight of our trip. This small restaurant serves fantastic food, all freshly prepared, with incredibly fresh fish and mind-blowing Tonkatsu. The owners are very friendly, and the wine list features the best producers in Burgundy. We wanted to book a table for the next night, but unfortunately, they were closed. We absolutely loved this place!

The menu offers an impressive variety of classic Japanese dishes, from delicately prepared sushi to comforting hot dishes. Everything was delicious, including the wine. Small downside for the slowness of the service (almost 3 hours for 2 starters & a main course) but overall I highly recommend this restaurant!

We ordered the 2 entree + 2 plat set meals. Everything was great in both presentation and taste. Unlike some of the other reviews, we found the food more than filling.

17/09/2024: This restaurant in the heart of Beaune is not the most classical one if you think about France, but it has great sushi. It is really affordable and the sushi is very tasty. The fun part is that the sushi comes on a wheel and you can grab the plate you want. If you order a dish not coming by, a train will bring it to your table. This is fantastic if you don't want to go for the French cuisine.
