We were so glad to find this restaurant with traditional French bistro fare in a town dominated by Italian restaurants. We were delighted with everything we ordered -- terrine maison, foie gras poele, salade de gesiers et de foie de volaille, onglet de veau, profiteroles. I was disappointed that they had no more orange givree, but the coconut givree (with chocolate sauce) that I ordered instead was excellent. We were in Cannes for only a day; if we had been there longer we would have gone back for other items on the menu that were equally tempting. The staff were friendly and efficient, and most of the other clients seemed to be local rather than tourists.

I am still completely overwhelmed by this evening ❤️ By the atmosphere. By the warmth. By every single moment. But above all, by the food. The fish was, without any exaggeration, the best we have ever eaten in our lives. And we are very fortunate to eat in excellent restaurants quite often, including Michelin-starred ones. But tonight was something entirely different. Every bite was an explosion of flavour. Not overdone, not artificially perfect, but honest, fresh and full of passion. This is exactly how you imagine France should taste. It felt as though we could taste the Côte d’Azur itself. Some evenings are simply impossible to put into words. This was one of them 🇫🇷🐟🍷

Dinner with friends at a table in the street – fantastic atmosphere on this pedestrian street – the 3-course menu for €43 was absolutely delicious and a delightful discovery – excellent wines by the glass – attentive and friendly service – 10/10
