A huge congratulations to the head chef, whose hard work truly shines through in every dish. It was also lovely to see him come into the dining room and ask us directly if everything was alright: a thoughtful touch that makes all the difference. Special mention goes to the young, dark-haired waiter, who was simply extraordinary: smiling, energetic, and professional. This new direction really makes us want to come back! The only slight drawback: the establishment could use a little updating to fully reflect this new energy. With that, it would be perfect!

A very pleasant surprise at Bistro Régent! 👏 I especially want to congratulate the new young manager on taking over the establishment. After a bad experience previously with salmon that made us sick, my partner and I decided to give it another try. And what a difference! The freshness was definitely back, the salmon was impeccable, the sauce perfectly balanced, and the dishes served piping hot. Special mention also goes to the fries, which were absolutely divinely cooked! 🍟 It's truly a pleasure to find quality cuisine and well-executed dishes again. Congratulations to the new manager and the team, we will gladly return! 👏

We are a German couple who ate at this restaurant two years ago. After reading the latest Google reviews, we decided to try it again despite our previous bad experience, and to our great surprise, we noticed a real improvement and a significant change in the quality of our meal. The food is truly excellent, with well-prepared ingredients and particularly delicious meat. You can feel a genuine commitment to raising the bar in the kitchen. 🔥 We also noticed a new manager: My husband and I had the pleasure of speaking with a very kind, smiling, bald, and tattooed man who seems to be bringing a new energy to the establishment and who helped us understand the reasons behind this restaurant's transformation. The restaurant was definitely in need of a change. We can't wait to see what's next! Congratulations to the whole team for this wonderful improvement. 👏 We'll be back soon to eat at Bistrot Régent in Tarbes, especially as promised to the gentleman. We came last night, there were six of us. The waiters and managers were very friendly and welcoming, very professional and efficient, and the service was quick. We will gladly return.

We came to eat this evening, as we were in the area for the Pope's visit to Lourdes. We ordered a beautiful ribeye steak and frankly, we have no complaints: perfectly cooked, excellent meat. The sauce was, as always, delicious. The fries were really very good and perfectly crispy. We ordered seconds. We were also served quickly. The young waiter was truly excellent, smiling, pleasant, and very professional; it was a pleasure. We regularly go to Bistro Régent in Bordeaux, and that's precisely what we appreciate about this establishment: whether in a big city or a small village, we find the same atmosphere and consistently high quality. A big thank you and congratulations to our friend Lucas, the chef, who always creates wonderful cuisine and delights us every time we eat at one of his restaurants. We had a great evening 👍

I went back last night after having been there about a week ago, and I was really pleasantly surprised. The difference was quite noticeable! The first time, I felt the quality and cooking weren't quite up to par. The wait was long. Yesterday, however, everything was much better: perfectly cooked, beautifully presented, high-quality ingredients, and my dish arrived relatively quickly. You can clearly tell there have been changes in the kitchen, especially with the chef, and it shows in the food. It just goes to show how a good kitchen team can really make a difference! This time, I left very satisfied. I'll definitely be back to eat there. A great improvement, well done to the team! 👏

Despite arriving late (10:15 pm), I received a pleasant welcome, and the waiter was attentive and very friendly. The service was quick, efficient, and the food was exactly as expected. Excellent value for money; I recommend it.

I've had lunch at this restaurant in other cities, so I went in confidently without checking the overall rating for this bistro in Tarbes. I was very disappointed with the entire experience: There were pigeons on the tables, and nothing was done to prevent them from flying around; the steak I ordered medium-rare was overcooked; the fries were very dry and probably reheated; the salad was wilted; and the crème brûlée had large sugar crystals. I won't be back.

I didn't really like the food, whereas I usually like it.

The waitress was great 👌 but too much work for one person, who nevertheless kept smiling.
