Bistrot Comoedia sur Lyon

I myself am involved in programming an independent cinema in Germany, so I was curious to see how it's done in Lyon. An interesting program, a great atmosphere, and a real identity. A very inspiring experience.

My favorite cinema! They offer prepaid cards with tickets for 6-7 euros. The program is always fantastic, with films shown in their original language. The little bar at the cinema is really nice if you arrive early. In short, a real gem in Lyon!

The best cinema in Lyon. From arthouse films to mainstream audiences, with original language screenings and subtitles, a great selection of films is always available. Moreover, its renovated and modernized facilities make it an essential destination. Legendary.

It's a real shame that this cinema, admittedly one of the best in Lyon, doesn't accept Pathé CinePasses: in Paris, half a dozen independent cinemas* are partners, and it brings them a lot of customers. Regrettably, the Comoedia's prices have increased considerably in recent years. As a Pathé Pass holder, I'd be happy to pay a small supplement of €4 or €5 if my pass were accepted at your cinema!

An unforgettable memory! I was only there once, in 2018, with my English class to see Hitchcock's "Psycho" in black and white without French or English subtitles.

Great cinema. A program of films with Q&A sessions and previews. You can get something to eat on site before or after the film, however, the wait is often long, so it's best to allow plenty of time. Worth a visit.

An excellent independent cinema in Lyon! The Comoedia offers a quality program, with a real selection of films, including new releases, arthouse films, and hidden gems. The theaters are pleasant, the welcome is warm, and the atmosphere is much more convivial than in the large multiplexes. It's a place you'll enjoy returning to, both for the quality of the screenings and the overall experience. A truly wonderful place for film enthusiasts.
