We had a lovely lunch in a friendly atmosphere, as was our waitress. The meals are generous; you won't leave hungry. We were also impressed with the cocktails and mocktails. We'll definitely be back when we return to Lyon.

I'm not from Lyon, so I chose this pub, and I'm glad I did because the atmosphere is quite relaxed. With this heatwave, there's even a basement with a TV to watch all the matches, especially the French team during the World Cup. You can even eat there, and it's very good; the menu is extensive. In short, even without air conditioning, I recommend this place.

12/07/2026: We stopped off here to get out of the heat and what a gem! The staff were so friendly and so helpful as we are English speaking. We had the bagel burger with onion rings and it was delicious! The house rosé and white were wonderful as well as the Picon bierre. Do yourself a favour and pop in!
05/07/2026: Sat here on my last afternoon drinking wine and reading my book. Such a charming little spot and very friendly staff. Tucked away in a side street so you feel like you're avoiding the worst of the crowds.
