A warm welcome from the staff and Mr. Blanc. The smiles were evident both in the dining room and on the plate; the dishes were succulent and bursting with flavor. The setting is magnificent and maintains a sense of intimacy, with very beautiful dining rooms.

We had a wonderful time at this establishment and were delighted to meet Mr. Georges Blanc. The restaurant is magnificent. The staff's welcome was perfect, and the quality of the food lived up to the restaurant's reputation. Bravo!

This weekend in Bresse allowed us to discover a magnificent institution of French gastronomy. A comfortable, clean, and spacious room blending old-world charm with modern amenities. A wonderfully pleasant indoor relaxation area. Smiling and helpful staff. This two-star restaurant, living up to its reputation, delighted our palates. It's a shame the service was so slow...

I spent Valentine's Day in a truly magnificent setting at the Georges Blanc Hotel Restaurant. This iconic establishment of French gastronomy offers a timeless experience. Each dish, refined and subtle, is presented like a true work of art, awakening both the eyes and the taste buds. Exceptional moments of sharing in a place steeped in history, underpinned by the excellence of Monsieur Georges Blanc. Special mention goes to the outstanding sommelier, who demonstrated great professionalism and remarkable presence, elegantly compensating for some less-than-perfect table service. Bravo to her for her expertise and poise, which make all the difference.

Everything is perfect: the waitstaff, the calm atmosphere, the amuse-bouches, the menus and dishes, the breads, the desserts and petits fours made on site. I don't understand the downgrade... jealousy? "We went to PB on my end, nothing to make it a three-star restaurant, better than GB, Bresse chicken cooked in a bladder? Truffle soup as a 'snack', desserts with no choice for the centenary menu."

It's an institution, a monument of gastronomy, and it truly is. The dishes were presented with exquisite technique and serenity. The service was attentive and caring… here, they practice high precision… excellence. And with the Boss joining us at the table… I had a wonderful time filled with positive energy… Bravo!

A dinner for epicureans. You are greeted by Mr. Blanc, who welcomes you to his establishment, and you can exchange a few words with him. Refined dishes accompanied by excellent wines, all orchestrated by professional and discreet staff. We were able to visit the cellar and the kitchen at the end of dinner. Admittedly, the price per person (around €300 per person without wine) might be a deterrent, but we only live once, so I personally took the plunge. Enjoy your meal to those who come next.

30/03/2026: What can I say? Congratulations to the great chef Georges Blanc! This is our third visit, and we are still amazed by the beautiful cuisine that delights us. I'm not at all happy that they took away a star!!! 😏 I'd really like to know what they could have possibly criticized, because everything is perfect. The setting, the staff, the room, and of course, the delicious meal, both at the inn and the Michelin-starred restaurant… 👏👏👏 We are used to fine dining, and last year we dined at Georges Blanc, Sophie Pic, and Le Couvent des Minimes, and I almost hesitate to say it, but my favorite was Georges Blanc.
30/03/2026: This is our third visit to this magnificent establishment by Georges Blanc. The welcome and the quality of the hotel are impeccable: a true Relais & Châteaux, worthy of the name, in perfect condition with meticulous attention to detail. As for the cuisine, it is always a marvel. With its constant pursuit of flavors and its unique culinary refinement, it has stood the test of time, always honoring our traditions while remaining innovative and modern. It is incomprehensible that it lost its third star, as it is always a delight and a surprise for our taste buds. Thank you, Mr. Blanc! Long live the hotel, and see you soon.
