Everything was in place for an exceptional experience: a warm welcome, a magnificent setting, attentive service, and refined cuisine from start to finish.
The spa is a true haven of peace, elegant and impeccably maintained, ideal for extending this relaxing and rejuvenating break.
Special mention also goes to a particularly promising young sommelier, passionate, attentive, and already very professional. His enthusiasm and advice greatly contributed to making this stay even more memorable.

We had an extraordinary experience during our weekend at Georges Blanc.
Everything is there for an unforgettable stay.
We were welcomed by very friendly and attentive staff.
The spa is splendid, the rooms magnificent and very comfortable.
And of course, the restaurant, where everything is exceptional.
A very special mention goes to the young sommelier, who advised us throughout our meal and shared his passion with us. He has a bright future ahead of him.

A dinner designed for lovers of haute cuisine, in a house that embodies the very history of French cuisine. Upon your arrival, Mr. Blanc welcomes you with natural elegance, taking the time for a brief conversation that sets the tone for a refined experience.
The cuisine expresses a rare continuity and expertise: heir to three generations of great "mothers" of gastronomy, Georges Blanc highlights the local terroir of Bresse with an approach that balances tradition and creative renewal. The restaurant's long-standing distinction, with Michelin stars since 1929, which makes it one of the oldest continuously awarded restaurants in the world, confirms its level of excellence.
The dishes highlight high-quality products, such as the famous Bresse poultry and local specialties, through excellent technique and deep knowledge of sauces, a signature element of the cuisine. At the same time, the impressive cellar — with tens of thousands of bottles — allows for exceptionally balanced food and wine pairings.
The space goes beyond the limits of a simple restaurant: at Vonnas, the chef has created a real “gastronomic village”, a set of buildings, gardens and hospitality spaces that offer a complete art de vivre experience. A visit to the cellar and the kitchens at the end of dinner reveals the detail and discipline that govern each stage of creation.

After several stays at Georges Blanc, we wanted to share the absolutely exceptional experience we had there.
In this iconic establishment, everything comes together to create truly special moments: a warm welcome, genuine attention to guests, and the understated elegance that characterizes the finest French restaurants.
Dinner at the gourmet restaurant is a veritable journey. Each dish reveals remarkable mastery, precise cooking techniques, and flavor combinations that demonstrate immense expertise. The cuisine is refined, subtle, and profoundly indulgent, true to the spirit of great French gastronomy.
We also greatly enjoyed the restaurant La Mère Blanc, which skillfully celebrates generous, authentic, and nostalgic regional cuisine. It's family cooking in the truest sense of the word, where ingredients and traditions are beautifully respected.
Under these circumstances, we find it difficult to understand the loss of its Michelin star, as the experience remains, for us, that of a truly great restaurant, worthy of the finest establishments.
Thank you to the whole team for these moments of pleasure, sharing and conviviality.

What can I say? Congratulations to the great chef Georges Blanc!
This is our third visit, and we are still amazed by the beautiful cuisine that delights us.
I'm not at all happy that they took away a star!!! 😏
I'd really like to know what they could have possibly criticized, because everything is perfect. The setting, the staff, the room, and of course, the delicious meal, both at the inn and the Michelin-starred restaurant… 👏👏👏
We are used to fine dining, and last year we dined at Georges Blanc, Sophie Pic, and Le Couvent des Minimes, and I almost hesitate to say it, but my favorite was Georges Blanc.

This is our third visit to this magnificent establishment by Georges Blanc.
The welcome and the quality of the hotel are impeccable: a true Relais & Châteaux, worthy of the name, in perfect condition with meticulous attention to detail.
As for the cuisine, it is always a marvel. With its constant pursuit of flavors and its unique culinary refinement, it has stood the test of time, always honoring our traditions while remaining innovative and modern. It is incomprehensible that it lost its third star, as it is always a delight and a surprise for our taste buds.
