Great place to have a drink and eat a small charcuterie/cheese platter, seen overlooking the Château d’Amboise. The staff is very pleasant, shows us the board games and explains the rules to us very friendly!

A lovely little bistro serving local wines and other drinks to the accompaniment of mixed charcuterie boards. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable! Grab a glass and a bite and then tour the royal chateau located across the street!

Place with a nice little terrace. The boards offered are really qualitative with very good products. Mojito not great on the other hand, very bland in terms of mint and lemon and lacks a little cane sugar, to be reworked 😉

To protect ourselves from the rain, we were comforted with a generous board and a good bottle and, what's more, three sincere smiles! To try at all costs (very reasonable anyway)

11/11/2024: Nice discovery, plates are up to par. A little wait, you have to be lenient, there are only 2 of them. Mr. in the kitchen, Mrs. at the service. Well done our taste buds were delighted!!
23/09/2024: We ate here twice during our week in Amboise - and both meals were absolutely wonderful! My partner is vegetarian, but this did not thow the chef - she ate extremely well without recourse to just beggies or tofu, which is often the easy way out for restaurants. The decor is pretty stark, but this is more than made up for by the food - its quality, cooking and presentation is superb. We were stunned to discover that there is only one person in the kitchen and one person front of house - that calls for extreemely good organisation and efficiency! I would recommend this restaurant without question - try it, you wont be disappointed!

auberge du Prieure Clos Luce Amboise

08/12/2024: Decouverte de cette auberge dans une ambiance médiévale. Les tables sont dressées à l'ancienne et les couverts ne sont pas faciles à utiliser. Q'importe le repas était excellent. Après la découverte des créations de Léonard de Vinci nous avons eu droit au gouter de Noel car nous étions 1 groupe de 100 personnes.
04/07/2024: Cet ancien prieuré situé au fond des jardins du Clos Lucé a de quoi surprendre. Nous sommes brusquement transportés quatre ou cinq siècles en arrière , servies par des serveuses ressemblant étonnamment à la laitière de Vermeer jusque même au visage . Le repas aux saveurs d’antan est extrêmement fin . C’est une vraie réussite.
