After a great visit to the Château d'Amboise, what could be better than a delicious crêpe at the Crêperie des 4 Saisons! Ideally located just outside the château, we enjoyed chocolate crêpes. A delight, and that's coming from us Bretons.

This crêperie is located at the foot of Amboise Castle and we had a very good meal. The welcome was very pleasant and the service was quick.

The welcome was simply perfect: smiling, pleasant, and after noticing I couldn't drink my glass because of a bee swimming in it, they offered me a second one. The savory buckwheat crepes are very generously filled and the sweet crepes are delicious; they melt in your mouth. We will definitely be back.

16/08/2026: Truly authentic places, you won't find anything like it anywhere else. The little whips are very original, very good, and served quickly. And the lamb. Confit, cooked for seven hours, was divine; I wanted to go back just for that. A truly beautiful place. Very friendly and truly unique, original staff. I go back every year.
16/08/2026: Great atmosphere, Marcel and Vero are friendly and above all I recommend this unusual place, come one, come all.

Le Lion d'Or

26/08/2026: Lunch with the excellent tasting menu, from the amuse-bouche to the dessert, not forgetting the violet marshmallow that accompanies the coffee. Impeccable and friendly service. I highly recommend it!
23/08/2026: We had a wonderful evening at the Lion d'Or. Pascale was incredibly kind and kept us pleasantly entertained throughout our meal. The two young waiters were also very friendly, although a little more reserved. As for the food, it was delicious. The chef truly delighted us. I highly recommend this restaurant!
