Bistrot L'atelier sur Amboise

To protect ourselves from the rain, we were comforted with a generous board and a good bottle and, what's more, three sincere smiles! To try at all costs (very reasonable anyway)

Good wine bar at the foot of the Château d'Amboise. The cold meats and cheeses are great and the staff is friendly. The only downside was that the bread lacked freshness that day. An assortment of different qualities of bread would be welcome.

Passing through to visit Amboise Castle. Very nice setting for a drink on the terrace! However one of the waiters completely ignored us upon arrival, serving and taking orders from all the tables nearby. Long moment of embarrassment. Fortunately the second server was very friendly. Furthermore, I recommend the workshop beer and the appreciable local white wine!
