Bistrot L'atelier sur Amboise

A small, super friendly wine and beer bar! The owner and waiter were incredibly welcoming. The wine was excellent, and the charcuterie and cheese board was superb, featuring truly high-quality products. This is a far cry from those mass-produced, industrially-flavored boards! We highly recommend it!

Really great place, super friendly waiter, I recommend it and will gladly come back 😉

A great place to enjoy excellent wines after a short visit to the castle. The featured beer was also a very pleasant surprise. Good selection at very reasonable prices. The service is impeccable as well.

Great bistro! Warm welcome, interesting and reasonably priced menu

The wine selection is excellent, and the ones recommended by the owner were truly excellent. It's clear he knows his stuff and knows how to perfectly suit your taste. The only downside is the rather uncomfortable chairs, though that might be intentional. If they were more comfortable, you could sit here and drink wine forever. 😉

A wonderful discovery in Amboise! We had a fantastic time at L’Atelier Bistrot. The welcome was particularly warm, friendly, and attentive: we immediately felt right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in a convivial and cheerful atmosphere. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and will gladly return. Thank you to the entire team for this wonderful experience!

Have a glass of wine or a beer and watch the world walk past.

Haven't even finished my food yet but had to agree with the other positive reviews - lovely, friendly atmosphere and extremely good value for money considering the location by the castle. Generous portions on the platters and fair price for wine by the glass!

We stopped for a beer, a glass of wine, and a juice. The service was friendly and excellent. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a drink in this plaza. If you like IPA-style beer, don't hesitate to order the Octopus craft beer.

A wonderful experience at this bar where the welcome and service were perfect. Let's return to the North for this last stop. Kudos for the superb glasses, a thoughtful nod to Leonardo and the local vineyards. I love them! Thank you to the owner!
