The service was quite slow, even though we arrived on time.
The waitstaff were friendly.
The food was good, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients.
However, we were very disappointed with the owner who, after a stiff welcome in the dining room when we took our order, didn't even greet us when we returned to the catering area.
While there is certainly more demand than supply for restaurants in St. Gervais, customers should be treated equally whether they are dining in or ordering from the catering service.

As usual, it was delicious and the service was impeccable.

The meat is truly delicious, as is the cooking. Prices are in line with the quality and service. There's a €36 menu, though. A good wine list for a bistro. The shop directly connected to the restaurant, selling products and wines, is interesting.

I absolutely loved Bistro Le Sérac!
You can immediately feel the passion for home cooking, with generous, flavorful, and perfectly executed dishes prepared on-site. The ingredients are high-quality, the presentation is elegant, and each dish exudes authenticity and homemade quality.
Special mention goes to the entirely homemade desserts, which are worth the trip alone. And what can I say about the Black Forest cake… simply excellent: balanced, light, rich in flavor, with a true respect for the recipe and an irresistible touch of indulgence. One of the best I've ever tasted!
A warm and welcoming bistro, sincere and delicious cuisine, and remarkable desserts: an address to recommend without hesitation.

Passing through the area from Canada, my mother-in-law lives 100 meters from the restaurant. We make a point of eating here every time. Always an excellent meal, attentive service, really good portions… the foie gras and aged ribeye lived up to expectations. Thank you Bistro Serac, we can't wait to visit you again on our next trip.
