An absolutely lovely spot! The food was great and the service was good too. Definitely recommend their steak tartare, absolutely fantastic, a bit mustardy. And I am a mustard hater, but this was great! Their pepper sauce was also good - smooth, silky and buttery. Their staff is probably overwhelmed thoigh there are a lot of tables and little space to move around. I enjoyed it lots! Definitely on the expensive side, but what in the area isnt?

Excellent roadside restaurant; remember to bring a sweater if you get cold easily, as the specialties are eaten under a tent.

A restaurant worthy of a 5-star rating, with flavorful dishes, a warm welcome, and top-notch service. If I lived in the area, I would definitely make it my go-to spot. I recommend it 100%!

A very nice restaurant on the road between Passy and St. Gervais. Excellent daily special, served with care and a smile. All the best specialties of Haute-Savoie. Enjoy! They truly deserve their work.

We had a lovely time at this very family-run restaurant. The staff were very friendly and attentive! The food was excellent, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients! I highly recommend it!

So we have mixed feelings because the terrace in summer could make it more welcoming and warm, and it's a shame, but as with all the restaurants we've tried in Saint Gervais, the prices don't reflect the quality of the food…

We had a wonderful evening. The servers were very friendly. We enjoyed a reblochon cheese dish with a lovely charcuterie platter. The waiter gave us excellent wine recommendations. We will gladly return to this excellent restaurant.

05/07/2026: Very good and fresh food – big kudos to the chef. The restaurant is close to the train station and the cable car. Service is okay. The waitress approached us after about 20 minutes, so nothing special, but she was nice and eventually served us.

08/07/2026: Nice place to eat. But the service leaves much to be desired; they don't ask if everything is alright, and the frozen potatoes are tasteless. The plate is a bit pricey for the quality; you're paying for the view.
07/07/2026: Lovely mountain hut on the ski slope with great views over the Mont Blanc Massif. After many a mountain climbed in summer and skied in winter, this one has to be one of if not my favourite. Open all year round with a great selection of products. Seemingly family run with people who really care about their customers. Sitting area surrounded by beautiful alpine wildflowers. Access by walking down the gravel service track for a 100m or so from the top of the Bettex. We were offered cheese from a local farm free of charge. The views are incredible - you can ask for binoculars and will be able to see all the way from Mont Blanc to Aiguille du Tour, Aiguille de Chardonnet and Aiguille Verte. If you are passing anywhere in the vicinity I would recommend a trip to Sous les Freddy.
