Bloempot sur Lille

Unfortunately, we weren't particularly impressed by the restaurant... the dishes weren't beautifully presented (personal opinion), and the flavors were sometimes lacking. The service was far too slow (we were there for four hours), and we constantly had to ask for bread because the servers never offered any.

Surprising and excellent. The three amuse-bouches count as only one course 😉 The 8-course menu is offered at €80 with a wine pairing at €40. The 10-course menu is €100, with a wine pairing at €50. A truly wonderful experience!

A charming restaurant with a set menu of 8 or 10 courses. It's a delightful surprise and a discovery for both the eyes and the palate. Highly recommended for a truly memorable experience.

We had a wonderful time. The setting is beautiful and the staff are lovely (best wishes to Yvan for his high blood pressure!). The quality of the food and drinks is definitely worth the trip, and the value for money is excellent. We especially loved the bar and its condiments!

Fantastic service, delicious food, great wine. That sums up the lovely lunch we had at Bloempot earlier today. The weekday lunch menu is €37, which is insane value for money. Our bill came to a bit more as we splurged on a very nice bottle, which is why I checked the €90-100 option for my review. Mid-lunch I checked whether they had any dinner availability for the next few days, but that was unfortunately not the case. Oh well, next time we’re in Lille we will definitely come back here.

We truly enjoyed this unique culinary experience. You can feel in everything that the cooking here is done with immense passion. Every dish was balanced down to the last detail, and the accompanying drinks complemented them perfectly. The flavor combinations were surprising, original, and of top quality. Additionally, there was a lovely and cozy atmosphere that made us feel welcome immediately. The staff were incredibly friendly and took plenty of time to explain the dishes and drinks. Even though we do not speak French, they made a tremendous effort to explain everything clearly. We appreciate that immensely. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and an evening we won't soon forget. We therefore wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves unique flavors, hospitality, and a unique culinary experience! We will certainly be back.

A quick trip to Lille and a (must-visit) stop at this little gem. The staff are very friendly and the food is magical. Delicious, beautiful… The 10-course menu went down a treat…
