Delighted to have discovered my first Welsh rarebit (a large one) here! I really enjoyed the Maroilles cheese tart (Goyère) and the grey shrimp croquette. The welcome was very pleasant and friendly. The portions are very generous! The fries are a little short, I think. The toilet seat is slippery, which is a bit unpleasant, but it's clean. The bill is a bit steep, but I get the impression that it's in line with prices throughout Lille. In short, I highly recommend eating there; we had a lovely time.

The waiter was fantastic! The food arrived quickly despite the crowd and was delicious! I highly recommend this restaurant, whether for a meal or just for drinks on the terrace.

Fantastic welcome, the servers are great, the atmosphere is very pleasant.
The food is excellent with generous portions. I absolutely loved the Flemish carbonnade; I would have loved to take a picture of it to illustrate my point, but I was really hungry haha

A bitter taste in our mouths when we received the bill...the waiter had charged us for an unordered starter...even though there were only 3 of us...the mistake couldn't be due to overcrowding...

We received a very warm welcome. We ordered carbonnade, pork cheek, and Welsh rarebit; it was delicious and well-presented. It was our first time at Le Chat qui Fume, and we'll gladly return 😁.
