Incredible Lille cuisine! Good quality, local, and very traditional products. The Welsh rarebit almost killed me in the middle of the heatwave, but I survived with dignity until I got to the hotel where I had to hibernate. Seriously, seriously good!

As a designer of cat accessories and toys, I simply had to have lunch at this little café. We received a warm welcome from Arthur, who gave us excellent advice. The food was delicious. They also have a selection of craft beers. It's the perfect place for cat lovers. Warmly

We had lunch at Le Chat qui fume, to enjoy the Flemish dishes we love, and we weren't disappointed! A great place!

The service and atmosphere were pleasant, and the setting was nice with its cat-themed decor and paintings. The soap in the restrooms was, of course, Le Chat brand. The terrace was small and located on the sidewalk, which was a shame, but you can't really ask for more in the heart of Lille. However, we were all unfortunately disappointed with our meals: the Maroilles cheese croquettes were strong in flavor but not really "Maroilles," the shrimp croquettes were too dry, the fries were rather hard, tasteless, and even oddly salty (even though they were supposed to be homemade fries, which is quite strange) and bland, the burger had a floury, rather poor-quality "galette" bun with a lot of cheddar cheese inside that unfortunately masked the taste of the meat and shallots... etc., there was always something wrong with each dish. It's a shame, because in the end it wasn't "bad," but we don't feel like going back either.
