Easily the best restaurant in Marmonde - run by a husband and wife team in the classic style but very modern presentation. Small menu - two starters and two mains at €50 for three excellent courses: marinated mackerel or fois gras terrine followed by suckling pork or duck all perfectly sauced. Desserts include a lemon ‘explosion’ and a chocolate mousse with a raspberry every couli.
The menu was very good. The prices were very high. Personally, I think it was too expensive in a town like Marmande. When I got home, I was hungry again. The portions are not sufficient.
