My favorite bakery in Angoulême! The staff here are so kind and it’s very affordable. My favorites are the baguette traditional, croissant, and pain au chocolat - which are some of the best I’ve tried in France! I look forward to trying more of their amazing pastries/treats.

29/03/2024: Visited this gem in Angoulême's market hall and was blown away by the quality. The Fish and Chips were perfectly crispy and tender, while the 'Petit assortiment' offered an incredibly fresh and tasty selection. The 'Poulet' was also a highlight, flavorful and cooked to perfection. This place is a must-try for delicious meals in a vibrant setting. Highly recommend!
09/02/2024: I only tried the fries this evening at the comic book festival but the level was stratospheric. Always looking for the best fries, the blue sail is perfect. Cutting nickel cooking nickel quantity nickel is flawless. Fries as we like them, very fatty. And the homemade mayo is delicious too. I'm making a note for my next time in Angoulême!! And the price is low, which is great. Sorry for the blurry photo of the place.

25/02/2024: Quality cuisine, tasty and gourmet, freshness obviously is there. The chef as well as the young woman serving are attentive, adaptable and who doesn't spoil anything with a smile 🙂 Agape is one of the (rare) gourmet references in Angoulême.
23/02/2024: Good food and very reasonable prices, nice discovery, to be recommended.
