Great restaurant, very friendly staff, excellent food. My husband had steak tartare and I had a Caesar salad; the chicken was cooked perfectly.
My only regret is that this restaurant isn't closer to our home (50 km away) 😅

It's good, very nice, and like all broths, but when you eat there every lunchtime with 4 or 5 people, or even more, for two weeks and I see that they can't even offer you a coffee, I think they're being incredibly lax from a business perspective! So next time we'll eat somewhere else!

I ordered steak frites rare, but it arrived very rare (luckily, I love it that way too!), but it was still good. One downside was that there were pieces of parchment paper in my dish.
The Normandy tart was decent, nothing special. The service was pleasant.

Le Bouillon is an excellent restaurant with very good value for money. The dishes are tasty and generous, and the service is particularly pleasant. The warm atmosphere makes the experience even more enjoyable. A wonderful discovery that I recommend without hesitation.

Visiting Angoulême for the day, we stumbled upon this restaurant around noon.
So we decided to give it a try...
The welcome was impeccable, the service perfect, and the setting pleasant.
And we weren't disappointed with the dishes we ordered.
All this at reasonable prices.
We highly recommend this restaurant.
