Very welcoming. Attractive prices. A great place you absolutely must visit.

The saleswoman was very welcoming this afternoon. The place is cozy and warm, perfect for a moment of peace and relaxation. The coffee was good.

As loyal customers, we've been a little disappointed since the change of ownership. Once, we ordered a "café gourmand" (a selection of small desserts), and the assortment included half a chocolate madeleine—completely dry! And to top it all off, the price has gone up by 20 cents, even though the menu still shows the old prices! On the other hand, we have no complaints about the staff, who were always very friendly and even seemed quite helpful when we paid! Beware!! Loyal customers can quickly disappear!!!

I usually buy macarons and other treats as gifts from this lovely biscuit shop when I'm invited somewhere. Yesterday, I went with a friend I was showing Angoulême to. We ate on the terrace, and she bought a box of macarons. Not being familiar with them, she asked for a taste. And then, a very awkward moment: we were given a tiny piece, very reluctantly and out of obligation! This reaction made us uncomfortable, and it's really not good customer service! We understand they can't offer a free sample to every customer, but still! The previous week, I had bought a box of macarons and some Bouteville balm as gifts. Well, this will be the last time, which is a shame because the products are excellent, but the service isn't this shop's strong point.

The madeleines are a must-try! Excellent, indulgent... a detour every time you're in Angoulême. In addition, the tableware on display is exquisite, truly unique and worth acquiring.

I like to take a break here because the place is lovely, and the macarons and madeleines are homemade. The owners always have a kind word for me.

It's a 5-star place, thank you... Every visit is a pleasure, thank you again.

A wonderful time on the terrace. I bought some beautiful tableware and gifts for the teachers, who were delighted. A glass of homemade iced tea on the shaded terrace and a delicious macaron. I went back to buy more. The staff is very friendly. The macarons are fresh daily. I loved it!!! And I will gladly return.
