Fast service. Reasonable prices. A lot of options. The burger was interesting - chicken with guacamole and tomato tartare. Not exceptional but a good effort nonetheless. Central location. A lot of places outside and inside. Go for it :)

We ate at this restaurant. We were very happy with the food and the service; however, it was stated that the restaurant closes at 1 a.m. We were asked to leave at midnight. Furthermore, another unpleasant surprise: drinks are subject to a surcharge after 10 p.m.! (I've never seen that anywhere else.)

Having come from Canada, I wanted to discover French cuisine, and Simon gave me excellent advice on choosing the appetizer, wine, main course, and even dessert. He was very professional, polite, attentive, and warm. Thank you so much, Simon, for this wonderful experience! Keep up the good work: I wish you much success in your career, because you truly deserve it 💙

The interior of the restaurant is quite nice, especially the glass roof.

A great time with friends and fast service on the terrace

Good experience at Brasserie L’Univers. We ordered nachos, a salad with crispy chicken, and a kids' meal of crispy chicken with fries and salad. The portions are generous, and the dishes are beautifully presented. The salad was good, with crispy chicken, bacon, egg, cheese, and croutons, although I think it would have been much better with more bacon and a bit more dressing. The nachos were also good, served with guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo. The only thing we weren't entirely convinced by was the pico de gallo, which lacked a bit of flavor. To accompany our meal, I tried the Slash IPA on tap. Pleasant and easy to drink, with fruity notes, although in my opinion, it falls a step short of other IPAs: it lacks body and a more pronounced bitterness. The service was good, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, we ate well, and it's a place I would recommend. It's just these minor details that, in my opinion, kept it from reaching five stars.

We ate at this historic restaurant in Tours two evenings and had a wonderful time. There's a wide selection of dishes to suit all tastes. The pinsa was a pleasant surprise.

Overall, an excellent service, but I sensed the evening fatigue among the younger waiters, who struggled to smile.
