An amazing French cuisine restaurant with a 125 years experience. The food was phenomenal, the service flawless. We liked it so much that we visited it twice with 5 days. We highly recommend this place.

We had a wonderful evening at La Chope. The servers were professional and attentive. The dishes on the set menus were delicious and unpretentious. The prices are very reasonable for both the food and drinks. Just one small suggestion… consider serving your dishes on preheated plates; your kitchen deserves it.

A lovely spot in the heart of the city. The tables are spaced far enough apart to offer a bit of privacy, and the food is divine! I highly recommend the cep mushroom beuchelle.

A very well-run restaurant, with white tablecloths and napkins. Excellent service from really friendly young people. I really like this place; it has a welcoming atmosphere. Very good value for money. A good establishment. Highly recommended.

We'd wanted to come here for a long time, and we finally had dinner as a family. It's a true institution with impeccable, pleasant, and discreet service. The decor, the Belle Époque style, and the staircase at the back of the room remind us that this establishment has a long history. The seafood was, of course, superb, the Gillardeau oysters were delicious, and the lobster was perfect. Duck breast and other meats are also available for those who prefer them. The fish dishes are perfectly cooked and presented. For dessert, the poached pear immersed me in French tradition. The wine list is excellent, featuring some great vintages. The only downside is that this impressive selection isn't more readily available by the glass. We'll definitely be back, and this time for lunch to experience a different atmosphere with the daily menu.

23/05/2026: Excellent brasserie. Tender and generous flank steak, tasty fries. Very refreshing chocolate mousse for dessert. Simple and efficient service. Not very busy this midweek evening.
18/05/2026: We had been wanting to try Le Chien Jaune for a while, and we were absolutely not disappointed. To begin with, the decor, reminiscent of a 1930s Parisian bistro with its period furniture, is truly unique. Numerous objects are scattered throughout the dining room, adding a great deal of charm and a real sense of identity. We were seated at the back, near the kitchen, and despite the distance, we found the area near the entrance quite noisy. The mirrors and the layout of the room meant the sound echoed quite a bit. As for the menu, it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. A special mention goes to the chocolate mousse, which was truly excellent. I don't think I've ever had such a good mousse in a restaurant before… and I've certainly tried many! The service was also impeccable: quick, discreet, and with very clear explanations of the dishes. We will definitely be back.
