Excellent brasserie/restaurant. The menus are incredibly fresh, the portions are generous and beautifully presented... congratulations to the chef, not forgetting the servers who are remarkably efficient and very welcoming... All this under the watchful eye of the owner and his wife, who manage their establishment with great professionalism and exemplary skill. I recommend this brasserie without reservation! Jmf

Very well located. The servers were neither friendly nor unpleasant. I tried a "croque madame": totally disappointed! I didn't really feel like trying anything else, as a result. The terrace is very pleasant for a drink.

The storefront of this café-restaurant is very simple, like a betting shop, which isn't exactly inviting... Although it is very clean... But what a pleasant surprise! The decor inside transports you back to the 70s, rustic and traditional... It's lively without being too noisy... The service is quaint and old-fashioned... And the traditional cuisine is delicious!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the eggs meurette and the pot-au-feu 😋 I didn't know where to go when I came to Fontainebleau because I was always disappointed... Now I know 👍 A must-try if you like good, classic French cuisine, well-executed, at very reasonable prices! Long may it last 🤓 Thank you 🙏

Café Des Halles is a place that's a bar, tobacconist, and brasserie. A friendly place to have your coffee in the mornings.
