Breakfast: croissant, orange juice, and long coffee. €5. It's okay. It was nice. It took a little while to take the order, but no big deal, we weren't in a hurry.
Oh, just to say that I love having breakfast with my sweetheart on Sunday mornings at this place. I'm not at all familiar with their pastries, except for the Viennese pastries. One small drawback: the staff takes a long time to take the order, but hey, it's Sunday, so we're usually in no rush.
Well, in August 2023, things haven't changed at all, if not worse. They didn't take our order at all on August 14th after exactly 13 minutes of waiting, so we left.

Went there for breakfast. Very good for €10. Especially a lovely sunny terrace and quick service. The pastries looked tempting.

The dishes and pastries offered are very good value for money, although a little something sweet with the coffee would be nice, especially considering it's a tea room.
It's a shame, then, that the premises are so outdated and poorly maintained.
And that the manager is so unresponsive to his customers.
It's high time this establishment, a Fontainebleau institution, made an effort to improve.

Having a coffee on a terrace at 11:30 am on a Sunday is practically mission impossible: most cafes turned us away. Except here. We were greeted with a smile and served in minutes. If only everyone could follow your example ☕️✨

Sooo good. Get the pistachio patisserie, it’s one of the best. That this place only gets 2.9 stars astounds me. Truly delicious.

Modern and bright setting, lovely atmosphere opposite the castle. The service was very quick and attentive. The daily special (flank steak) and the pork spider steak were delicious, and the portions were more than generous.
