Nice little restaurant for a drink, however we ordered a mixed platter (around 2 pm) and they were out of bread… which was a problem when you eat cheese… it was also difficult to get a carafe of water… we finally got one but without a glass 😅 Overall, the location is central and the restaurant is cute!

After visiting the castle in the early afternoon, it was difficult to find a place to have lunch. The welcome was pleasant, but we were disappointed with how our table was handled. Our dishes weren't sent out before the kitchen closed. We were able to settle for a charcuterie and cheese board to salvage our lunch. It was quite tense on Easter Monday, and the service was rather slow. We appreciated the gesture of goodwill shown towards us. We can't give a full opinion on the quality of the food. However, the charcuterie and cheese were of high quality and well-presented.

The servers were very friendly, but nothing was right... The food wasn't good quality, the lasagna was left over from the day before and as hard as cardboard, the warm goat cheese salad had three pieces of cold goat cheese, they brought two glasses of wine for four people, the fourth course arrived 30 minutes after the others, etc., etc. Lots of mistakes and oversights. But we still had a good time and enjoyed it with a smile, but it wasn't a quality experience.

My wife and I went to this place two mornings in a row for breakfast. We received a warm welcome. The €6 breakfast deal was really excellent. The two waitresses who worked there both days were in very good spirits. In short, it was perfect, and if I have the chance to return to Fontainebleau, I will certainly go back. Thank you!

09/05/2026: Been coming here for over 30 years with at least 3 different owners but it has kept its heart as a local bar serving simple but tasty products.
11/04/2026: Excellent brasserie/restaurant. The menus are incredibly fresh, the portions are generous and beautifully presented... congratulations to the chef, not forgetting the servers who are remarkably efficient and very welcoming... All this under the watchful eye of the owner and his wife, who manage their establishment with great professionalism and exemplary skill. I recommend this brasserie without reservation! Jmf

26/03/2026: Well... This is a well-known bakery and pastry shop in Fontainebleau. The products are good, and the shop is lovely. However, the products are still quite expensive, and the sales staff's service needs improvement, really! You're a high-end bakery; we expect a similar level of service. (They give the impression of being a bother, don't look at customers, and sigh at the slightest question). I don't think I'll be back...
