The homemade dishes were very good, we enjoyed them.

A lunch break on Sunday: very friendly waiter, the veal and burger dishes were cooked perfectly, and the fries were wow, so good.

The welcome was very good, even though they were about to close. However, some behavior was quite problematic. I don't know who it was and I'm not trying to find out, but having been kicked out that very evening and looking for water and a phone battery, they took me in. We shared drinks, offering and paying for everything willingly, even though I think some people wouldn't have bothered with other "services" that I find problematic, and for some, like the owner, too. I offered him some food before it went to waste, because, as I said, I was homeless that night. Chicken nuggets. Imagine my surprise when I found this food at the bottom of my shoes, finally getting home! I hope the owner makes sure this doesn't happen again because, for me, the welcome, the hospitality, and the sharing (NOT OF MY BODY) were there. That evening did me good, or had done me good. That's my business, so indiscreet questions about my life and sexuality aren't always a good omen, if you know what I mean. The soup was very good, though. Again, I'm sorry if I made too much noise that evening; I'm a fundamentally generous person, as are the owner and some other customers. But please be careful. The owner and the manager could be a little more attentive, and so could I. Gin and alcohol can cause damage, but don't blame everything on the alcohol; others can too. A word to the wise. Beautiful terrace and very good service

After our visit to Espalion Castle, we stopped and had a very good meal. The set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) was reasonably priced, with good homemade products. The servers were very pleasant. Don't hesitate to stop there for lunch.

The food is excellent, with homemade fries and beautiful meat from the butcher. I recommend this restaurant.

Traveling with a child with celiac disease in France is very difficult. There are hardly any gluten-free restaurants with a menu that includes anything other than salads. Here, they took care and prepared a dish with meat and cheese. I highly recommend this place to anyone with celiac disease. It's one of the best we've found. And the prices are affordable. A 10 out of 10 for the place and for the waiter who had the patience of a saint.
